He obtained his first degree from the University of Nigeria and subsequently obtained postgraduate qualifications in renewable energy engineering.
He has extensive experience in solar energy research, renewable energy policy, energy systems and capacity development.
He has supervised numerous undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and has published extensively in national and international journals.
As President of the Solar Energy Society of Nigeria, he provides leadership in promoting research, innovation, professional development and the adoption of renewable energy technologies across Nigeria.
